Ricky "Rick" Murry Jamieson

Ricky "Rick" Murry Jamieson, 77, passed from this life on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Rick was born May 1, 1945, in Columbia, South Carolina to Mansel Murry Jamieson and Lexie Juanette (Stroup) Jamieson. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Rick married Kathleen Drake and they raised two daughters, Tania and Beth. He faithfully served his Lord and Savior and community as a minister for the Congregation of Christ in Weatherford. Rick loved tinkering with electronics and used his acquired skills at Craig's Music in Weatherford for 31 years. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Mansel Jamieson.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen "Kitty" Jamieson of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Tania Allen (Lenny Salinas) of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Beth Sullivan of Weatherford, Texas; six grandchildren, Tyra Goen, Rachel Goen, Jaidyn Allen, Ethan Sullivan, Nolan Sullivan, and Logan Sullivan; mother, Juanette Jamieson; and sister, Teena Williams (Ted) of Hayden, AL.

A memorial service honoring Rick will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, officiated by Jay Massingill. Interment will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
