Robert "Bob" James Williams

  Robert (Bob) James Williams was taken to his heavenly home on Friday, January 19, 2024. Bob was born February 18, 1940, to S.J. and Nettie Williams. He served in the United States Air Force and later worked for the United States Navy as a civil service firefighter. In September of 1960, he married the love of his life, Gloria. Bob was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and loved people, including every single person he met. He also adored his dog, Buffy. Bob enjoyed woodworking and loved being outside in nature, watching the birds and trees.

  Bob is survived by his wife, Gloria Williams; sister, Sherry Race and husband, James; daughter, Susann Breedlove and husband, Marshall; daughter, Renee Margossian and husband, Steven; son, Matthew Williams and wife, Mary Ellen; grandchildren, Luke, Daniel, Ryan, Leah, Nick, Sophia, Madelyn, Olivia, Meredith, and Francie; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Witten, Kayce, and Blakely. He was preceded in death by his parents, S.J. and Nettie Williams; and sisters, Dorothy Frame and Betty Dippery.

  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Messiah Lutheran Church, in Weatherford, Texas.
