Robert Henry Knight

  Robert Henry Knight, 92, of Athens, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2011, in a nursing facility. Robert was born February 18, 1919, in Fort Worth, and was a long time resident of Aledo before moving to Athens. He was a long haul freight truck driver and a former Fort Worth fireman. Robert was also a faithful member of the Moslah Shrine Temple in Fort Worth. 

  He was married for 60 years to the love of his life, Mineola Barker Knight, who preceded him in death in 2001, also preceding Robert in death are his brothers, Alden, Hulon, and Eulon, and a sister, Juanita. 

  Robert is survived by two children; his caregiver; and nephew, Hulon Knight and wife, Zuma; numerous other relatives and friends.
 
  Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Galbreaith Pickard, with interment to follow in Aledo Brown Cemetery. Masonic cemetery rights will be preformed by Phoenix Lodge # 275, Weatherford, Texas.
