Robert Lee Hall

  Robert Lee “R.L.” Hall, age 81, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at his residence. Robert was born August 2, 1937, in Olden, Texas, to George and Ruby Estelle Steelman Hall. 

  He was an avid domino and checkers player, enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and watching baseball. He also enjoyed going to training with his service dog, Sampson. Robert was a longtime member of South Main Church of Christ, Phoenix Masonic Lodge # 275 and was an honorary member of the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse. He was also former Mayor and a City Councilman in Weatherford. He enjoyed outings with his children and spending time with family and friends. 

  Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Loveta; his parents and a brother, James Roy. 

  Survivors: daughter, Gayle Hall of Weatherford; daughter, Karen Hall Wilson and husband, Ed of Houston; daughter, Linda Garrett of Weatherford, Steven Garrett; sisters, Bonnie Hickle, and Inez Grider; brother, Richard Hall; grandchildren, Mindy Wilson Muse and husband, Scott of Keller; Jessica Wilson Berry and husband, Jason of Rowlett, Amy Garrett Pickett and husband, Cody of Abilene, Elizabeth Garrett of Weatherford, Wyatt Garrett of Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Aiden Muse, Abbey Muse, Caleb Muse, Colby Muse, all from Keller, Allen Berry of Rowlett, Baylee Pickett, Eli Pickett, Brantley Pickett, Emerlee Pickett, all from Abilene; sister in law, Wanda Reagan and husband, Aulton of Vancouver, Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

  Funeral: 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2019, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. 

  Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. 

  Memorials: Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or South Main Church of Christ Ladies Encouragement Ministry.
