Robin Birdell (Jones) Ginn, 69, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Robin was born July 12, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert Jones and Virginia (Jennings) Jones. She worked at First Command Bank in Fort Worth, Texas. Robin had many interests and hobbies that included canning, sewing, and quilting. She was a member of the Sewing Guild in Weatherford, and made beautiful quilts that will be cherished by her family and friends. Also, Robin was a member of Eastside Church of Christ, Retro Rockhopper Car Club, and Westward Riders. She was known for her collection of salt and pepper shakers and cookie jars; Robin liked penguins and had a love of wildflowers, especially sunflowers and bluebonnets. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her best.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Jones; brother, Cary Jones; and step son, John Ginn Jr.
Robin is survived by her beloved husband of twenty years, John Ginn of Weatherford, Texas; son, Bradley Mitchell; daughter, Heather Mitchell; step children, Carol Wilson, Jill Hardaway, Nicholas Ginn, Samuel Ginn, Jessica Ginn; grandson, Jude Mitchell; step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; three nieces; and numerous step nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, officiated by Dwayne Spadlin. Inurnment will take place at Tolar Cemetery, in Tolar, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
