Ronald Gene Stubbs

Ronald Gene Stubbs, passed away peacefully in his home at age 80, Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Ronald was born June 11, 1942, in Kearney, Nebraska, to Gene Stubbs and Gladys Ruth Josh. 

Ronald played football for North Texas State University, then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Ronald shared 37 years of marriage to the love of his life, Sally. 

Ronald took pride in his occupation, he worked 50 years with General Dynamics and then Lockheed, during this time Ronald suggested design changes that saved the company time and money. Ronald received awards for his accomplishments and was a large asset to General Dynamics. 

He found his joy when he became a grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Marine Corps League Comanche Peak Detachment #1297 from 2019. Ronald was a member of North Side Baptist Church. Ronald adored his family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Gene M. Stubbs, Gladys (Stubbs) Eastridge, and Bill Eastridge, and nephew, Troy Clayton.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Sally Stubbs; son, Jeffrey Lynn Stubbs and wife, Sue; daughter, Deborah Lynn Cameron and husband, Don; brother, Gary Hallows, (Carol); brother, Michael Hallows, (Sarah); sister, Patty Karar, (Rashid); nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way.

Memorial Service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the North Side Baptist Church, in Weatherford, Texas. Interment to follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Millsap, Texas.
