Ronald James McLaughlin

Ronald James McLaughlin, 58, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 4, 2013 at his residence in Azle, Texas. He was born November 19, 1954 in Sioux City, Iowa to Robert James and Shirley Marie McLaughlin.  Ronald was a veteran of the US Army, a computer systems engineer for BNSF and a member of IBEW Union. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, fishing and having pool parties with friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard McLaughlin. His survivors include his wife, Dana of Azle, Texas; sisters, Jeanne Kierscht of Sarasota, Florida and Robin Johnson and husband Pat of Sioux City, Iowa; brothers, Danny McLaughlin and wife Mary of Kansas City Missouri, and R.J. McLaughlin of Sioux City, Iowa. Ronald had numerous friends, nieces and nephews and never hesitated to extend a helping hand to a friend or family member.

Memorial Service: 2:00PM, Saturday May 11th, at Meyer Brothers Funeral Home, 6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, Iowa 51106.  Gravesite services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
