Roxanna Rae Mercer

  Roxanna Rae Mercer departed from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at age 75. She was born July 11, 1948, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to the late Norman Mercer and Quinela (Muse) Mercer.

  Roxanna was a devoted mother to Joseph Calvert, Jr., Barbara Reuter and husband, Frank, Michael Calvert and wife, Wendi, and Don Byron Stacks; a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren, Brandie, Frank III, Hunter, Abigail, Madeline, Joshua, Don Jr., and Tyler; and to five great-grandchildren, Kylee, Kayden, Kendall, Brayleigh, and Brynlee; and loving sister to her siblings, Quinella Miller and husband, Gary, Sonny Mercer, Johnny Mercer, and Cynthia Warnock and husband, Wayne.

  Roxanna worked in the real estate banking industry as a mortgage loan closer. She will be remembered for her love of family, her support of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys, and her catholic faith. Roxanna enjoyed having a good time, often celebrating with beer and baseball or patronizing the local Chili's restaurant. She loved adventure and was an avid traveler. Roxanna, with her wit and wisdom, will be deeply missed by all.
