Roy C. Doshier (age 93) of Brock, Texas passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023. Born December 25, 1929, in Temple, Texas. A resident of Brock for 42 years. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Janie Doshier; daughter, Sherry & husband, David Herring of Eagle Mountain; son, Ricky Doshier of Frisco; brother, Jack Doshier of Grand Prairie; granddaughters, Tera and husband, Justin Beall of Arlington, Jessi of California; great granddaughter, Taylor of Arlington. Preceded by his parents and several siblings. Roy worked 20 plus years for Bell Helicopter before he retired to enjoy working with the cows and bailing hay on the farm, attending many Brock football and baseball games, and faithfully watching his beloved Texas Longhorns.
Viewing will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at 913 North Elm Street in Weatherford. Service will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., with burial following at Brock Cemetery.
