Roy Gene Jackson

Roy Gene Jackson, age 52, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in a Weatherford nursing facility. Roy was born on February 2, 1962 in Weatherford to Raymond and Nelda Jackson. He was a special person who warmed the hearts of all who came in contact with him. Roy always had a happy greeting for everyone whether he knew them or not. He brought joy to many people, he spoke to everyone and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Jackson, sister Beverly Brown and brother Larry Jackson. 
Roy is survived by his mother, Nelda Jackson, sister, Becky Teague and husband Rickey; brother, Ricky Jackson as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by all.


Funeral 2:00 pm Friday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Herring Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
