Roy Lee Byrd, 71, of Millsap, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in a Fort Worth hospital. Mr. Byrd was born May 26, 1940 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Leonard and Charlie Belle Byrd. Roy was a farmer and rancher, he loved his family and life on the farm.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Byrd of Millsap, daughters, Carrie Kelley and husband Brent of Weatherford, Brenda Byrd of Weatherford, son, David Byrd and wife Jennifer of Millsap and sister, Mary Ruth West of Lubbock. Six grandchildren, Abigail, Jack, Dalton, Derek, Dakota and Taylor.
Graveside: 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Cox cemetery.
