Royce Lee Williams was born September 2, 1942 in Lockhart, Texas. He passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013.
The son of Royce Lavern Williams and Ellen Grace Thompson Williams. He graduated Lockhart High School, attended the University of Texas at Austin, DelMar Technical School at Corpus Christi. He worked for Exxon in South Texas at the King Ranch Gas Plant until he retired.
He married Judy Bornholdt Williams on December 25, 1992. They lived in south Texas and upon his retiring from Exxon they lived in central Texas prior to moving back to Weatherford. He opened his gun repair shop, The Powder Keg, which was his favorite pass time.
He is survived by his mother Ellen Williams and step-mother Mari Lu Williams, step-sister Sara David, his son, Randall Williams, four step-sons, Gary Bornholdt and wife, Norma Jean, Perry Bornholdt and wife, Filliesa, Arnold Bornholdt and wife, Cheryl, and Dale Bornholdt and wife, Karen and one step-daughter, Tina Bornholdt Harbour and husband, Bill; eleven step grandchildren, and ten step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Bornholdt Williams, his father, Royce Lavern Williams, his brother, Thomas Neal Williams, his step-son, Ronald R. Bornholdt, and step-granddaughter, Tricia Mae Finley and his Texas family, Pat and Martha Castelberry.
Memorial service will be at
10 AM, Monday, June 17 and officiated by Pastor Mike Wiley at Memory
Gardens Cemetery, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford, TX.
