Ruby Grace Cole

Ruby Grace Cole passed away Saturday April 12, 2014 in Fort Worth TX.  Born October 30, 1933 in Seymour TX to Perry and Sally Renner; Ruby was one of six children.  Ruby grew up in Texas, but lived in many different areas of the country through her life.  She met Wesley Cole in California in 1974; they married a year later.  Together they moved to Weatherford TX where they spent the last 30 years.  They were members of Central Baptist Church.  Ruby was a Nurse’s Aide at Keeneland Nursing Home for 15 years.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, working outside, and cooking.  She was a simple person, who was always willing to help others. 
Ruby leaves behind her husband of over 38 years Wesley Cole, daughters Connie Langdon and her husband Ken of OK, Sandra Leatherman and her husband Michael of CA; sons Durk Carlisle and his wife Francis of CA, Gene Carlisle of CA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sisters Marie of CA, Dorothy of CA, Sally of MS; brothers Perry of Weatherford, Earl and his wife Carolyn of Weatherford.  Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kathleen Carlisle and son Troy Carlisle.

A graveside service will be held Monday April 14, 2014 at Central Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be Sunday April 13, 2014 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
