Ruby Murrell Emerson

Ruby Emerson, age 96, entered heaven Praising God in the presence of her Savior on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Ruby was born on June 18, 1918 in Coppell, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of Victory Baptist Church, she was a great gardener, loved working with flowers and going to church. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha Ottinger, daughter Wanda Davis, husband Ralph Emerson who died in 1990, nine brothers and sisters . Mrs. Emerson is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Emerson Evans and husband Harold of Fort Worth, Marilyn Emerson of Fort Worth, Margaret Emerson Colley and husband William of North Richland Hills, sons, Ross Emerson and wife Partricia of Watauga, David Emerson of Burleson . She was blessed by a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and loved by all.        

Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19th at Victory Baptist Church. Interment in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 pm Friday at Galbreaith Pickard.
