Russell Hugh Forsyth

Russell Hugh Forsyth, age 70, left this Earthly plane and passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on February 6, 1943 in Hicks, Texas.  Russell was an Army veteran and a tool maker in the aviation industry at Lockheed Martin.  Russell married his bride, Faye and together they blended their families.  Russell leaves behind daughters, Lalanya Dow and Donna Bales; sons, Russell “Rusty” Forsyth, Kelly Russ, Michael Dow, and Jeff Dow; sisters, Laura Gomez, Lupe Moore, Frances Mendoza, Nita Kates, Rosemary Pitts, and Christine Del Rio.  Russell leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Soledad Forsyth; his son Randall Forsyth; his daughter Kim Greer; his brother Robert Forsyth and his sister Eula Sweet. 


Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on
Friday, September 20, 2013 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with
interment at Johnson Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
