Ruth Ann Carnes

Ruth Ann (Brittain) Carnes known as Grandma (MaMaw) to many passed away March 25, 2022, peacefully in her sleep. Ruth was born in Parker County on April 16, 1937, to John H Brittain Sr and Annie Audett Morgan.

Ruth loved to go camping, boating, fishing, but road trips were her favorite. Driving around looking at the countryside. Ruth loved everyone in her family very much and she was very proud of each and every one of them. 

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Theron (Chuck) Carnes. She leaves behind sons, Teddy Carnes and wife, Paula, and Theron (Toot) and wife, Julie; and daughter, Selina Davis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great children, 1 brother John (Punkin) Brittain, and an extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 9th; 2 pm, at her home 701 Buck Dobbs Rd, Aledo TX 76008.
