Ryan Scott Segar, 15, of Weatherford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, February 9, in Weatherford.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be will be held at 2 P.M., on Saturday, February 17, at Weatherford Senior High School, 2121 Bethel Road, in Weatherford. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 until 2, Saturday, at the school. Burial will be private.
Ryan was born on October 15, 2002, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jason Segar and Kristen Taylor. Ryan will be remembered by everyone for being ‘everything’ and very thoughtful. Ryan was kind, loving, and loved by everyone. He ‘never met a stranger’ and always processed an outgoing spirit to everybody he met. He has both artistic and musical talent and played both saxophone and the guitar. Ryan could also ‘fix anything’ including laptops and i-phones with his collection of spare parts. Ryan was a Chess champion. Most of all, Ryan was loved by everyone who knew him.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Jason and wife Kaylee Segar and Kristen Taylor; brothers, Corey Segar and Junior ---; his aunts, Cara Vilardi, Brittney Vilardi, Marie Loftin, Celeste Edwards and Grace Taylor; uncles, Anthony Tylor and Dylan Moreland; material grandparents, Kevin and Wanda Taylor; paternal grandparents, Ed and Monica Kieffer; step-grandparents, Anna Duran, David Vilardiand Mario Duran; step-sisters, Esperanza, Alexandria, and Adriana Rodriguez and Tina Rutledge.
Ryan was preceded in death by his stillborn brother, Brighton Segar.
