Ryan Thomas Simmons, age 23, was born January 13, 2001, to Gregory and Lindsay Simmons. His life was tragically cut short on June 15, 2024. He grew up and attended school in The Colony, Texas. Ryan graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas in May of 2023. During high school, Ryan worked for Resto-Pros doing mold remediation. His first year of college he worked for Caliber Collision. He then moved to Strive Concrete where he worked through most of college. Upon graduating with his business degree in 2023 he accepted a job with EB3 Construction as a Project Manager. Ryan never shied away from hard work. He took great pride in everything he did.
Ryan accepted Christ in 2018. He was a God-fearing husband and a consistent source of God's love in all his relationships. He married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Lauren (Murphy) Simmons, on May 17, 2024, just weeks prior to his sudden passing.
Ryan was a beacon of light in the lives of all those who crossed his path. He took the time to get to know each person and he truly loved everyone for who they were. Ryan took the time to learn about and care for strangers. He lived life to the fullest.
Ryan leaves behind his wife, Lauren (Murphy) Simmons, of Haslet, Texas; his parents, Gregory and Lindsay Simmons of Springtown, Texas; his sister, Allison Ford of Springtown, Texas; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Simmons of Argyle, Texas; his maternal grandfather, Thomas Bennison of Dallas, Texas; his aunts, Andrea and Michelle Simmons of Crossroads, Texas; his Uncle Blake Bennison and Aunt Clare Bennison of Farmers Branch, Texas; his cousins, Jacob and Dani Simmons; and countless other family members and friends. Each person in Ryan's life mattered.
