S. M. Adcock

S.M. Adcock, 84, of Weatherford, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at a Weatherford nursing center. Sam was born March 16, 1923 in Thackerville, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weatherford, retired from the Fort Worth Sanitation Department and an Air Force Veteran. Sam is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bessie Adcock, brother, Walter Adcock, nephew, Richard Adcock and sister, Gladys Robertson. Survivors: Wife, Helen of Weatherford; sons, John Mark Adcock of Denton and Eric Andrew Adcock and wife Dawn of Nocona; sister, Frances Liddell of Weatherford and three grandchildren.Funeral          1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in the First Baptist Church of Weatherford.Burial             Memory Gardens CemeteryVisitation       6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel
