Sally Park Green, 44, of Millsap, passed away late on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at her home in Millsap following a long and courageous fight against cancer.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 3, at Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford. Burial will follow at Santo North Cemetery.
Sally was born August 18, 1974, in Odessa, Texas. She married the love of her life John David Green on September 24, 2004. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford. Sally worked at Alcon Laboratories for 9 years then she was self employed.
Her strength inspired many through her cancer walks, cancer camps, and various volunteering. Sally made time for everyone. She would do anything for anyone and she ‘never met a stranger.’ Sally's eyes were always bright and her smile was contagious. Sally brighten lives with her wit and quirky ways. She was one of a kind. Most of all, Sally will be remembered as being a loving and devoted wife, daughter, aunt, and sister.
Sally is survived by her husband, John David Green; her parents, Bill and Sherry Park; grandfather, Joe Sparks; her son, Blake Green; her siblings, Holley Davilla, Ashley Owen, Colby Foust, and Allie David; and by her niece and nephew, Taylor and Hagen Davilla.
Sally was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Peggy Sparks and Rose Williams.
