Sharon Jane Gaines

Sharon Jane Gaines, 64, a 23 year resident of Weatherford passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1955 in Oxford, England, to John Robert and June Gumby Summerfield-Brice. Sharon worked in Materials Management at Life Care Hospital for 20 years. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Sharon will be remembered for the way she fiercely loved and supported her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Boyd Bush. Sharon is survived by her children, Sarah Cooper and husband Eric, William Thornton, Amy Murphy and husband James Bayliff; siblings, Nicola Byerly and husband Randy, Paul Summerfield-Brice and wife Jeanne, Martin Summerfield-Brice, Angela Cook and husband Steven, Anne Peate Cobb and husband Porky and Victoria Baker; grandchildren, Trisha McGee, Austin Thornton and Margaret, Landon Elizondo, Matthew Murphy, Paris Murphy, Nathan Cooper and Liah Cooper; 15 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews whom she adored. Sharon had a few special friends that were a blessing to the family especially during her last days. The family would like to thank Connie Fuller, Debbie Fehr and Roquel Beadel for their love, compassion and care.
