Shawna Cooper

Kerensa Shawn "Shawna" Cooper, age 50, passed from this life Saturday, August 20, 2022. Shawna was born August 21, 1971, in Odessa Texas. She was a teacher’s aide for Weatherford ISD for over 20 years. She started at Austin Elementary and currently worked at Sequin Elementary. Shawna loved children, drag racing, tubing, the beach and floating the river.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sammie Perry, her grandmother Bennie Lucas, brother Toby and sister Angela. Shawna is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dudley Reid Cooper; children Joshua Cooper and Reid Cooper; and her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Cooper Potts. She was dearly loved by her many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service: 5pm, Friday August 26, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
