Shelia Ann Bridges

Shelia Ann Bridges, 74, of Weatherford passed away Friday, September 11, 2020, at Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, Texas.

Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2020, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Brock Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Shelia was born June 21, 1946, in Weatherford, Texas to Loren and Nellie Fontaine. Shelia was a Christian and a loving mother who loved her children deeply. She operated an in-home childcare and cared for children for many years. Shelia was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a woman of strong faith. For the past 6 years, she rotated living with her three children two months at a time. Shelia loved reading books, playing solitaire and most of all spending time with her children and family. Shelia has been very strong throughout the past few years and never lost her love for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Clifton Bridges; sisters, Aileen Jack and Billie Henderson; and brother, Ronnie Fontaine. 

Shelia is survived by her children, Jimmy Bridges and wife, Kayla, Shana Bridges and Deana Bridges; brother, Jimmy Fontaine; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
