Shelley Denice Gresson

Shelley Denice Greeson, 41, a homemaker and a beautiful soul transcended the surly bonds of earth Wednesday morning May 9, 2007, after a courageous battle with a long-term illness. Bound for glory, her precious PaPa awaits her. She will be greatly missed and always remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, Nana and friend. She never met a stranger and was always first to lend a helping hand. Shelley was preceded in death by her father, John Milton Beaird Jr., and her mother, Patsy Jo Cruse. She is survived by the mother of her heart, Juanita "MeMa" Beaird of Fort Worth; husband, Larry Greeson of Fort Worth; daughters, Tiffany Landenberger and Grace Atherton; son, Johnathon Dale Baughan, all of Fort Worth; sisters, Wende Nabors and husband, Andy, of Grand Saline, Donna Whitelaw and husband, Jim, of New Orleans and Staci Anderson and husband, Jimmy, of Irving; brothers, John Milton Beaird III of Grand Saline and Jacky Lynn Graham and wife, Judy, of Kaufman; and her beloved grandchildren, Jordon and Shelby Baughan and Jacob Landenberger, all of Fort Worth. Shelly also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and numerous children of her heart. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
