Sherry Lynn Greer

Sherry “Meme” Lynn Greer, 61, of Millsap, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at her home. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 5 P.M., on Saturday, June 8, at Beulah Baptist Church in Millsap.

Sherry was born November 21, 1957 in Weatherford to Homer and Wanda Greer. She was always devoted to her family and her faith. Sherry enjoyed cooking and shopping. She believed passing on family and historical knowledge to her family was important. Sherry had the “biggest heart” and was always willing to “take anyone in.” She will be remembered for being the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Sherry is survived by her son, Curtis and wife Candice Greer of Millsap; her granddaughter, Nicona Brooke Greer;fiancé, Ronald David Stonemetz; her sister, Sharon and husband Eddie Menchaca of Odessa and Shelia and husband Chuck Shoe of White Settlement; her brother, Terry and wife Dee Greer of Weatherford; and by numerous nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Louise Greer.
