Sidney Lyndon Brazeal, born May 14, 1941 to Effie Jewel Eatmon and Sidney Cecil Brazeal in Plainview, Texas, entered the presence of the Lord Sunday September 22, 2019 at his home in Weatherford. Lyndon started his aviation career at Southern Airways at Fort Wolters where he worked as a helicopter pilot, trouble shooter, inspector and mechanic. He worked for 42 years in the aviation industry and retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked in the F16 and F35 programs as a manufacturing planner retiring in 2013. He was a long time member of North Main Church of Christ where he served the community as a follower of Christ. Lyndon is remembered by his loved ones as a kind and gentle man who loved Jesus and led his family in his devotion to Christ. He loved to laugh and spend time with his family playing guitar and fishing. He loved his Texas Rangers and wanted to see them win a World Series.
His legacy is deeply respected and honored in the community and continues to bless the generations of his family.
Lyndon is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon Chism Brazeal; brother Everett Brazeal and wife Fran; his four children, Becky Peoples and husband Gary, Terry Brazeal and wife Joyce, Zip Brazeal and wife Sherri, and Rhonda Otto and husband Dave; 22 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren who he believed actually hung the moon; and numerous other dearly loved family and friends. And the best two dogs ever Peanut and Stormy.
A visitation will be hosted by Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel Tuesday, 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday 10 AM, followed by a burial service at East Greenwood Cemetery.
