Stanley Miller Frazier, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024. Born August 10, 1945, in Gorman, Texas, Stanley served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, beginning in 1965.
After his military service, he built a successful career as an auto technician and later contributed to his community as a member of the Weatherford Citizen Police. Stanley was a gifted woodworker and painter, and his professional pecan-cracking skills were well-known. He was a man of strong faith and found comfort in his relationship with Christ, and as a member of Willow Park Baptist Church. Stanley was preceded in death by his son, Stanley Miller Frazier, Jr.; his parents; and his sisters, Martha Sue Craig and Ruthie Jean Donald.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Penny Frazier; his children, Amber Frazier, Kevin Frazier and wife, Bethany, Michelle Day and husband, Chip, Chad Black and fiancé, Nicole, Andrea White, and James Hayes and wife, Billie Jean. He was a cherished grandfather to eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
Stanley’s legacy of love, service, and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, in Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Willow Park Baptist Church, in Willow Park, Texas. The funeral chapel is not involved in the memorial service.
