Stella Mae Moyer

Stella Mae Moyer, 98, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 in a local nursing home. Stella was born Aug. 20th 1914 in Shelby County, Texas to Robert Jeff and Martha Leta Yeary. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She moved to Weatherford when she was only 17 years old. She has been a member of Couts Memorial United Methodist Church since she moved here. She was a Beautician and owned Stella’s Beauty Shop here in Weatherford for over 30 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Moyer, Son, Jerrell Wayne Moyer, Brothers, Starlon Yeary, Cleo Yeary, and Dewey Yeary.  Survivors include daughter, Jane Shaw and husband Woody, Daughter-in-law, Charleen Moyer, both of Weatherford. Four grandchildren, Lisa Hamilton, Joseph Moyer, Julie Brown and husband Steve, Jason Shaw and wife Nisha; seven great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives in France.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 in East
Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at funeral home one hour prior to
service.
