Stephen Wayne Stanford

Stephen Wayne Stanford, 67, of Weatherford, was promoted to Heaven on Wednesday afternoon, May 11, 2016. Stephen was born May 17, 1948, in Peoria, Illinois to JB & Juanita Stanford whom have preceded him in death.
Stephen, is survived by his wife and best friend Cynnamon Stanford, sons Stephen Burch of Millsap, Michael Stanford of Weatherford, Jason Stanford of Weatherford and daughter Ashley Stanford of Weatherford, sisters Brenda Knight, Judy Stokely, Vicki Gonzalez, brother Marty Stanford, 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren
He was known affectionately by many as “Old Man”. Old Man loved to fish, watch and attend many forms of racing, and had a passion for NASCAR. He loved his family, considered his friends as family and he loved God.
His testimony should be heard by many and his miracle is astounding.

A memorial service celebrating his life and his promotion will be held at the First Baptist Church of Horseshoe Bend at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14th.
There will not be a visitation, Stephen desired to always help and donated all of his corporeal remains to science for the benefits of others. He will be cremated and greatly missed.
