Steven Wayne Shannon

Steven Wayne Shannon, 64, of Poolville, passed away late Thursday, November 15, in Lubbock, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 P.M., on Tuesday, November 20, at the North Main Church of God, 803 N. Main street in Weatherford. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M. at the church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens west of Weatherford.
Steven was born on November 10, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Howard and Gene Shannon. He married Tammy Boman in Weatherford, Texas, on September 9, 2006. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and as a hobby. Steven enjoyed outdoor activities – particularly fishing- and was an avid sports fan following the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, Steven will be remembered as family man who cherished time spent with his wife and family.
Steven is survived by his wife, Tammy; his daughter, April Fields; his mother, Gene Shannon; his sisters, Deborah and husband Ben Stanley, Dawn and husband Bill Harrigan, and Shaune Shannon; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Howard and by his brother, Michael Shannon.
