Susan Ann Romero, age 64, of Weatherford, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. Susan was born October 5, 1956, in Weatherford, Texas, to Clarence and Vada Floyd. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in the mid 70’s and lived most of her life there before returning to Weatherford in 2015.
Susan loved gardening and enjoyed being outside and especially loved sunflowers. She was a good listener and a teacher to many, teaching hundreds of children in her home daycare. She was never quick to judge and was always open minded.
Susan is survived by her son, Jonathan Romero (Kristen) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandsons, Ezra Hanrahan and Jackson Romero of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and sister, Janet Coalson (Russell) of Weatherford; brothers, Jimmy Floyd (Jeannie) of Weatherford, and C.P. Floyd (Francis) of Weatherford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Floyd.
Susan will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
