Susan Elaine Sojka

Susan Elaine Sojka, 69, peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 16, 2021. 

Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 21, 10:00 a.m. at Willow Park Baptist Church, 129 S Ranch House Rd, Aledo.
Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, December 20, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home, Weatherford.

Susan was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born August 4, 1952, to John and Helen Clark. Susan was a graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School in 1970. After high school, Susan attended Texas Women’s University before entering the workforce as a pharmacy technician. In 1982, Susan moved with her family to the Weatherford area where she spent the remainder of her life. Susan worked for the City of Weatherford in various capacities, including support positions with the Weatherford Police Department and the Weatherford Public Library. Susan enjoyed travel and spending time with her family. She loved the mountains in New Mexico and Colorado. Through the years, Susan was active with her church family at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Peaster Baptist Church and has attended Willow Park Baptist Church for several years. Susan married Robert on August 4, 2007 and spent the last years of her life enjoying time at home with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James; her sister, Kathy; and her stepson, Bryan Sojka. 

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Robert Sojka; son, Ben Davis and husband, Scott Wagoner; daughters, Rachel Crow and husband, Chet, and Lori Landrum and husband, Levi; stepsons, Lonnie and Chad Sojka; stepdaughter, Alasha Power and husband, Chris; brother, Johnnie Clark and wife, Angela; sister, Robin Samrow and husband, Dean; grandchildren, Caleb Crow, and wife, Missa, Dakota Crow, Madeline Crow, Laney Combs and husband, Kyle, Lexi Landrum, Aidan Landrum, Lily Landrum, Silas Landrum, Jessica Thomas and husband, Spencer, Christopher Power, Connor Power, Bryce Power, Meagan Sojka, and Tristan Sojka.
