Susie Morales

Susie Morales, 58, of Weatherford passed away May 23, 2016 after a long illness.  She was born the daughter of Benito and Mary Hernandez-Salazar on August 22, 1957, in San Saba, TX.  Susie worked hard all her life and was admired by many for her strength and stamina; and was a willing volunteer for many opportunities.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and  sister.  Her one regret in life was being separated from some of her children and missing out on the lives of several grandchildren.  Susie was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Martinez and her father.

Survivors include husband, Adelaido Morales; daughters, Chelo Rocha & husband, Bernardino; Hope Bullard & husband, Lonnie; sons, George Martinez, Ernest Martinez & wife, Kelly and Carlos Martinez; mother, Mary Salazar; and numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and grandchildren.



Visitation is scheduled 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 26, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 27, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel with her burial to follow at Tin Top Cemetery.
