Suzanne Lois Anderson

   Suzanne Lois Anderson joined her beloved husband, William, in heaven April 13, 2025. Suzanne was born October 1, 1948, to Don and Ella Vallance of Pike, New York. She was raised in Pike where she met William while they were both attending school and their friendship turned to love as teenagers. They married on February 25, 1967 in Pike, New York on a beautiful snowy day.

   Suzanne was always searching for her next adventure. This started in high school when she was a foreign exchange student and spent a summer in South America. After their wedding, she and William moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend college but later felt that Western New York and the family connections they had were calling for them to return to raise their family in that area.

   Suzanne spent her career as an accomplished procurement professional mostly in the manufacturing industry, earning several certifications and awards for her work. William’s career at United Airlines took them on another adventure when they moved the family to Denver, Colorado. They both loved the Colorado mountains and, any chance they could, they spent time exploring the Colorado terrain with their children. Her adventures continued as they traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Australia and many places in between. Suzanne always found great comfort and enjoyment in music and gardening. But most of all her favorite thing to do was sit beside William, talking about their last or next adventure and cherishing every one of her “top ten days.” Bill and Suzy are back together.

   They are survived by their three children: Michelle (Devin) of Mineral Wells, Texas, Jennifer (Ron) of Azle, Texas, and Brian (Lottie) of Bennett, Colorado. They cherished each of their grandchildren and great children: Alicia, Megan, Garrett, Jessica, Katelyn, Jacob, Liam, Zoey, Levi, Carson, Finnley, Noah, Keith, Jack, Charlotte, and Arlo.

   Their family will look for each pair of Cardinals among blue skies as William and Suzanne are sure to frequently check in on them from heaven as they watched over them all for these years.

  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
