Mr. Ted E. Morgan, Sr., age 89, died on Saturday, December 11, 2010, in a local nursing home facility. Born on March 14, 1921, in Cleburne, Texas, to Sidney and Elizabeth Morgan. He was a longtime resident of Weatherford and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1959.
Survivors: daughter, Penny Brandeberry and husband, Frank of Weatherford; sons, Ted E. Morgan, Jr. of Bedford and Mike Hemby and wife, Christie of Weatherford; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and sister, Betty McClendon of Bremerton, Washington.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 13, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Leatherman officiating, and interment to follow in the Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
