Mr. Ted E. Morgan, Sr., age 89, died on Saturday, December 11, 2010 in a local nursing home facility. Born on March 14, 1921 in Cleburne,Texas to Sidney and Elizabeth Morgan He was a longtime resident of Weatherford and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1959. Survivors: daughter, Penny Brandeberry and husband, Frank of Weatherford; sons, Ted E. Morgan, Jr. of Bedford and Mike Hemby and wife, Christie of Weatherford; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sister, Betty McClendon of Bremerton, Washington. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 13, 2010 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Leatherman officiating and interment to follow in the Laurel Land Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
