Teresa Lynn Russell

Teresa Lynn Russell, 54, of Weatherford, earned her wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 10, 2016. A memorial service will be private on Thursday, September 15.

Teresa was born October 1, 1961 to Carl and Shirley Moody. Teresa found her soul mate, Joe Russell, and was blessed with many happy years with him. They were married October 3, 1996. Teresa graduate from Weatherford High School and was later a graduate of Tarelton State University. She was registered nurse for 20 years. Before becoming an R.N., Teresa was an LVN for 15 years. Teresa spent her life time caring for others. She had a ‘heart of gold’ and followed her mother’s footsteps in long-term nursing care. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She loved the water and spending time with her dogs, Daisy, Lucy, and Bear. The real love of Teresa’s life was her husband, Joe Russell.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Joe Russell; step-mother, Patricia Moody; her sisters, Catherine Norton and husband Buba Norton and Michelle Edwards; step-sisters, Charlann Neimeier and Laurie Connally; by her nieces, Carlee Brackett, Christina Norton and Sandra Cooper and her husband, Michael Cooper; and by her sister-in-law, Judy Wolf; and by numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Southard and step-father, A.D. Southard and by her father, Carl Lee Moody.
