Terry Edward Mehan passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014, with his loving family beside him. Born February 27, 1942, in Fullerton, California, to Ned and Martha Mehan; Terry was one of four children.
Terry joined the Air Force and traveled as he served our country. He lived many places Colorado, Montana, California but when he and Joyce moved to Texas three years ago he found home. Terry was a proud member of the Leon River Cowboy Church in Eastland as well as the American Quarter Horse Association.
Terry leaves behind his bride, Joyce; daughters, Tammy Lesmeister and her husband, Dennis of Montana, Tammy Van Der Leest of Fort Worth, Shannon Chittum and her husband, Tye of Burleson, Jamie Hicks of Montana; son, Andre Mehan and his wife, Christine of Montana; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters Pam Mehan of Oregon and Glinda Ridgeway-Roberts of Nevada; brother, Steve Mehan and his wife, Grace of Montana; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 2, 2014, at 3:00 p.m., at the Leon River Cowboy Church.
