Terry Leon Jiminez, Sr.

  Terry Leon Jiminez, Sr. entered the joy of the Lord on December 28, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, to Filimon and Betty Jiminez. Terry lived in various parts of Southern California, including Sacramento, before meeting and marrying his high school sweetheart, Ana, in 1971. Shortly after their marriage, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Together, they raised five wonderful children.

  After giving his life to the Lord in 1979, Terry and his family settled in Riverside, California, where they became active members of Harvest Christian Fellowship. There, Terry served in several ministries, including Junior High and campus security.

  Terry was a man of many talents, including a successful 17-year career as a professional semi-truck driver. He enjoyed a wide range of hobbies, including listening to music, watching movies, playing his guitar, and participating in outdoor recreational shooting. He had a true love for all types of food, especially ice cream and anything sweet.

  Terry was deeply devoted to his wife and family. He was known for his friendly nature, kindness, humor, spontaneity, and playful unpredictability. He had a strong work ethic and was a firm believer in the importance of being on time.

  He is survived by his loving wife of 53+ years, Ana; his children, Frankie and wife, Elizabeth, Terry and wife, Rochelle, his daughter, Christine, Peter and wife, Karla, and Joshua and wife, Ashley; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Rose and husband, Frank; his brother, Bill and wife, Michelle; his brother, Frank and wife, Tina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

  Terry was preceded in death by his father, Filimon; his mother, Betty; his brother, Don; and his sisters, Jane and Sharon.

  Terry will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
