Terry Savage Pearson

Terry Savage Pearson, Sr. passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was one of 10 children born to George Elza Pearson and Ann Elizabeth Steele Pearson in Lambert, Mississippi. Terry was a Marine, volunteer firefighter for Central Community Volunteer Fire Dept. and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a retired mail carrier and recently retired from Parker County Sheriff’s Department as a Correctional Officer. He was enjoying retired life!

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Pearson; and brother, Gregory “Bubba” Pearson.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Holmes Pearson; daughter, Laurie Parker and Rocky Leatherwood; sons, Terry Pearson, Jr. and Tracy, Regan Smith and Karla, Ryan Smith and Karen; grandchildren, Ashlee, Blake, Rayce, Kaitlyn, Shelby, Quinton, Cameron, and Guerin; great-granddaughters, Peyton and Laicee; dog, Eli; siblings, Mike Pearson, Kay Westbrook, Don Pearson, Sheila Cook, Rodney Pearson, Alice Pearson, Sonya Hurst, and Clifton Pearson; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation is 2 -4 pm Sunday afternoon. Funeral Services will be 2 pm, Monday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel with burial following at East Greenwood Cemetery.
