Thelma Parsons Phillips

Thelma Parsons Phillips, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 27, 2013. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, December 30, 2013 at the funeral home.  
Thelma was born November 25, 1919 to John Henry and Beulah Mae Parsons in Stigler, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Weatherford and a member of North Side Baptist Church.  Thelma served in the ladies auxiliary for 30 years at Medical Regional Hospital in Odessa, Texas.
Thelma leaves behind her husband of 75 years, Boyd W. Phillips of Weatherford, TX; daughter, Shirley Howard of Weatherford, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Ronnie and Teresa Phillips of Providence Village, TX; grandchildren: Mark Howard, Susan Phillips and husband, Jayson, Michelle Phillips, Chance Phillips, Andy Wright; six great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren; sisters, Noretta Livesay of Stigler, OK and Venita  Vinzant of Muskogee, OK; brother, Oscar Parsons of Tamaha, OK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Services are under the direction of Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, December 30, 2013 at Galbreaith Pickard

Burial: Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.
