Theron Rea Plowman, age 70, of Fort Worth, died early Friday morning, December 7, 2012 in a Fort Worth Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his side. Born January 7, 1942 in Weatherford. Rea was a retired U. S. Army Military Police Officer with the rank of Captain. He also was a computer programmer and he loved driving his Ford Mustang, working in his yard and gardening. He was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Plowman, parents, Leon and Mary Plowman, a brother, J. V. Plowman.

Daughters – Sandy Brunton and husband, Dan of Wichita, Kansas
Dr. Sherry Edwards and husband, Donnie Slanker of Fort Worth
2 Grandchildren – Amanda Paul, a registered nurse, serving in the U. S. Army
in Korea
Erica Walker and husband, Justin of Midland
One Great Grandchild – Kennedy Michelle Walker
Sister – Joyce Collup of Fort Worth
Brothers – Donald Plowman and wife, Betty of Biloxi, Mississippi
Charles Plowman and wife, Sue of Poteau, Oklahoma
longtime friend – Marivel Reyes

Graveside service will be held at 2PM Monday, December 10, 2012 in the Annetta Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
