Thomas Eric Blanks

Thomas “Eric” Blanks, 49, of Weatherford, passed from this life on Thursday morning, August 10, 2017, at his home and surrounded by his family.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, August 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 W. Ball Street, in Weatherford. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until the time of the service, Saturday, at the church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens west of Weatherford.

Eric was born November 3, 1967 in Dallas to LeRoy and Sharon Blanks. He married Jeanine Reich on December 2, 1989 and together had two children, Landon and Laursen. Eric was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Weatherford. He will affectionately be remembered for being a “one-of-a kind-guy”, who loved life, always made people laugh, and never met a stranger. Most of all, Eric “loved his family beyond measure” and was a devoted family man.

Eric is survived by his wife, Jeanine; his children, Landon and Laursen Blanks; his parents, LeRoy and wife Anita Blanks and Sharon and husband James Horton; his siblings, Todd and wife Cassye Blanks, Lance and wife Colleen Blanks, and Anisa Blanks and husband Javier; and by his nieces and nephews, Holden and Hollis Blanks, Macenzye Snyder, Madyson Cox, and Jaley, Blake, Riley, Reagan, and Jonathon Reich.
