Thurman "Bud" Wayne McClearen, Jr.

Thurman Wayne McClearen, Jr. (Bud), born July 11, 1959, went with our family angels on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at age 64. After an illness was recently discovered he fought a short battle, but lost his life.

Bud was a lifetime resident of Weatherford, Texas, where he attended Weatherford High School and cruised up and down South Main Street as a teen in that blue cougar car. He later obtained an Electrical master license while working for Sony's Electrical, Goodspeed Electric, and then with Frank Williams Electric until his death.

Bud is survived by his girlfriend, Yolanda (Jan) Dilley; daughter, Christy Graham and husband, Johnny of Mineral Wells; son, Jason Davidson and wife, Jenifer of Weatherford; daughter, Alicia Davidson of Weatherford; sisters, Debbie Brittain and husband, Ronnie of Weatherford, and Donna Smith and husband, Thomas of Mineral Wells; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Bud was preceded in death by his father, Thurman W. McClearen, Sr.; mother, Opal Carroll; stepfather, Sonny Carroll; and nephew, Christopher Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
