Timothy Alan Leatherman, Sr.

Timothy Leatherman Sr. "BOSSMAN" We lost our beloved son, brother, father and best friend Tuesday January 20, 2015 in a motor vehicle accident on Mineral Wells Highway six miles west of Weatherford. He has been a beloved member of Parker County for forty-eight years. Tim was born October 13, 1966 to Earnest and Martha Leatherman of Weatherford. He was the third of four children.  Tim was a manager and father figure "BOSSMAN" at the Sonic Drive-in on North Main in Weatherford for 22 years with his boss and beloved friend Lois Wright. He was also a valued leader at Chili's Bar & Grill in Weatherford. Many of his employees looked up to him as a father and to many he was. He graduated from Millsap High School in 1985. Tim Sr. opened his home and heart to everyone he knew, loved to help those who struggled, and was a beloved friend to all he knew. He touched many hearts and lives. He enjoyed loud music, motor sports, fixing ANYTHING, watching movies, and playing all kinds of games. He was a "heck of a pool player" but, most of all he was always surrounded by those he loved.
Tim is survived by his parents Martha & Earnest of Weatherford, his grandfather Elmo Leatherman, and granny Adina Jobe both also of Weatherford. His son Timothy Leatherman "JR." and his wife Kayla Gerard, grandson Kayden Alan Leatherman, daughter " AlishaDawn" Leatherman who is also expecting Tim's second grandson Carson Jacoby Leatherman in June, all of Mineral Wells.  His siblings Carl Leatherman and wife Rebekah , Greg Leatherman and wife Miche11e, and younger sister Tina Leatherman, and fiancée Richard Hill all of Weatherford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
 

 


 Visitation- Sunday January 25, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. Service 10 am Monday, January 26, 2015 at Galbreaith Pickard. Interment will be at Bosley Cemetery in Santo.

Contributions can be made at Sonic on North Main or at Chili's in Weatherford, Texas to help with funeral expenses. Sonic and Chili's will be holding other fundraisers for the family. AII prayers and contributions are greatly appreciated.
