Timothy A. Lane

Timothy Alan Lane, age 56, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Timothy was born June 8, 1968, in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, to Timothy P. Lane and Linda (Glasgow) Lane. 

Throughout his professional journey, he dedicated his skills as an invaluable employee with TXDOT and was never afraid of adding a little elbow grease when needed. Timothy enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing; notably, his early successes in winning bass tournaments. The earliest at the age of nine highlighted his talent and determination to a lifelong love of fishing. Family held a special place in Timothy's heart; he reveled in spending quality time with his many wonderful grandchildren.

Timothy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Amy Lynn Lane; mother, Linda K. Glasgow; and stepmother, Betty Ann Christmas.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Timothy Lee Lane (Nikki), Amanda Marie Lane, Trey John Lane (Racquel), and Noah Karr; ten adored grandchildren; father, Timothy Pruitt Lane; and his sister, Leanna Lane.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas. Additionally, a graveside service to honor his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Oakland Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
