Vicente Castillo Garcia

Vicente Castillo Garcia, passed away peacefully at age 76, on Monday, July 4, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. Vicente was born January 20, 1946, to Pedro Mata and Julia Castillo. Vicente took pride in his occupation; he was a hard-working brick mason. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Vicente was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Julia; wife, Josefa Hernandez; and siblings, Juana Maldonado and Isidro Mata.

Vicente is survived by his daughter, Olivia Gonzalez; stepdaughters, Lucia Arellano and Paula Gloria; siblings, Leona Mata, Refugia Mata, Norberta Mata, Baldo Mata, Modesto Mata, and Juan Mata; grandchildren, Yvette, Lysette, Felicia, Luis, Joaquin, and Alex; great grandchildren, Naomi, Genesis, Elijah, Abel, and Oscar; nieces, Jessica, Darlene, Blanca, Rosaisela, Anahi, Elva, Alba, and Judy; nephews, Celestino, Alvaro, Juan, Isidro, Pedro, and Jorge; great niece, Soraya; and great nephews, Brian and Preston; along with a host of many more nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Peach Tree Place for their exemplary care of Vicente over the last few years.
