Virginia Juanita Grable

Virginia Grable, 69, of Weatherford, passed away Wednesday morning, July 7, 2010 in a Fort Worth nursing facility. She was born April 12, 1941 in Weatherford to Hugh and Ida Grace Golden. Virginia taught school at Oakwood Academy as well as the bookkeeper for Grable Plumbing. She was a member at North Side Baptist Church, a great cook, especially candies. Virginia loved to read and had a great love for her family.  
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Buddy Grable.
Survivors included her son, Kirk Grable and wife Cheryl of Willow Park, sister, Joyce Addison and husband Joel of Weatherford, brothers, Hugh Golden, Jr. of Dublin, Charles A. Golden and wife Earlene of Menard, and Byron F. Golden and wife Evelyn of Abilene, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Monday, July 12, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Van Houser officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
