Virginia Laughlin, 77, of Granbury, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1946, to Luella and Henry Behr in Princeton, Indiana. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Weatherford, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Luella Behr, and late husband, Edward Laughlin.
She is survived by her husband, James Ward of Granbury, Texas; sons, Scott Laughlin of Weatherford, Texas and Mike Laughlin of Mission Viejo, California; brothers, Richard Behr and wife, Linda of Matthews, North Carolina; Jimmy Behr and wife, Lori of Maiden, North Carolina; and grandson, Michael Laughlin Jr. of Mission Viejo, California.
The visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
The funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the First Methodist Church of Weatherford, with burial following the service at Tin Top Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Scott Laughlin, Mike Laughlin, Ken Ward, Michael Ward, James Ward and Walter Ward.
