Virginia Mae Carter

Virginia Phillips Carter, 87, loving wife, precious mother, dear sister and faithful Christian, went to be with her Heavenly Father with arms open and singing praises on November 30, 2012.  Born March 8, 1925 to Fred Phillips and Lucile Turpin Phillips, she was a life-long resident of Weatherford.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill Carter; son, Freddie A. Carter and wife, Patricia, son, Joe B. Carter and wife Sharon, daughter, Darla K. Berry and husband, Ricky and son, G. Brad Carter and wife, Vicki; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Sammie Harris and husband, James; niece Dr. Lauranne Harris and many cousins.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 3rd at 10 AM in
the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, the former location of Couts
United Methodist Church, where she and Bill were married on June 6,
1946.  Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at Galbreaith Pickard.
