Vivian LaVerne Parkey Durrett, 79, of Burleson died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at her residence. Born December 17, 1927 in Parker County, Texas where she was a life long resident until moving to Burleson a few years ago. Vivian was a hair dresser and a member of Santa Fe Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hardin and husband James W. of Burleson; sisters, Mary Judge of Houston, Thelma Neeley of Houston and Dale Hutcheson of Fort Worth; brother, Robert Harris of Houston; grandchildren, James D. Hardin and Sherry Shell; great grandchildren, Chase Hardin, Amanda Shell, Candace Hardin and Chance Hardin; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral service: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Hardin officiating. Interment will be in Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
